The Planning Department in 2016 reformatted the Wasco County Land Use and Development Ordinance (LUDO) to make it easier for planners and customers to use.
The reformat focused non-substantive edits including:
Look for the bookmark icon:
at the top right of the screen. This will open a menu so that you can quickly navigate to specific Chapters and Sections in the LUDO.
You can also easily search the document by hitting Ctrl + F on your keyboard. This open a search box in the top right of the screen where you can type a keyword.

- Linking to citations of Oregon Administrative Rules and Oregon Revised Statutes to easily link state law with local regulation
- Correcting references
- Ensuring consistency with the font, headers and footers, and general formatting
- Restructuring the definitions chapter to make relevant definitions easier to find
- Linking references within sections for easier navigation
