Hunt Park is a picturesque park located in Tygh Valley, Oregon at the base of Mount Hood. The park is located near world-class fishing and rafting on the Deschutes river. To the west is the Mount Hood National Forest. Nine miles to the southeast is the town of Maupin located on the Deschutes river.

The facility is co-located with the Wasco County Fairgrounds allowing the site to accommodate overnight campers to groups of up to 1,000 people. The park has 120 RV hook ups with power, water, and a shared dump station. For tent campers the facility has multiple camping locations and convenient bathrooms and showers. 

Facilities include two kitchens. One covered outdoor kitchen is equipped with five commercial gas stoves, hot and cold water and refrigeration with eating areas at multiple picnic tables. The indoor kitchen and dining room is equipped with multiple stoves/grills, ovens, refrigeration, sinks with hot/cold water and will seat up to 60 people.

For large groups, a walk in cooler is available for use. Additionally the site boasts several buildings for use including an enclosed 5,000 square foot commercial building with concrete floors and basketball hoops, a permanent stage, grandstands that seat 950 people overlooking a lighted racetrack and arena (155'x395'), horse and animal stalls, and several other small buildings for group meetings.

The park has 25 acres of open field space for group activities or games. An onsite caretaker ensures that your experience is a pleasant one.
