Early Childhood

The Early Childhood Committee is a sub-committee of the Wasco County Commission on Children and Families (WCCCF).

The committee is made up of Commission Members and community partners who work with children ages 0-8 and their families. This committee makes recommendations to the WCCCF on all issues having to do with children ages 0-8. Meetings are held quarterly. Children's Fair 2012 Play Smart, Grow Strong!

We are VERY excited to announce our vision for the annual early childhood event coordinated through the Early Childhood Committee of the Wasco County Commission on Children and Families:

Children's Fair 2012 Play Smart, Grow Strong!
May 19, 2012 from 10am-2pm at the City Park

For the past several years we have focused on incorporating intentional elements into our fair. In 2009, we partnered with North Wasco County School District #21 and launched the first Pre-School Round-up at the Children's fair. Last year, we hosted an Interactive Event Stage with local and imported guests for families to enjoy. This year we are planning to do all of that....and MORE!
